Have you ever heard someone mention Git like it’s the most trivial thing ever? Well, we know that it isn’t! This Sunday we will demystify Git and talk about version control together with Axis. It will be a day filled with practical exercises, Q&A’s and IRL good vibes!

Level of workshop: All levels are welcome, exercises can be adapted to more advanced levels

Preparations?
There are no preparations but some tools are good to have for the exercises:
1. A code editor that updates files when changed on disk, for example:

The Gist of Git

Ever had problems keeping track of the changes you’ve made in your code? Well, this is what version control is for!

Version control is an essential part of being a programmer and during this workshop you will learn how it works. We will look closer into Git by introducing you to what it is, and later on by doing hands on exercises with the help of an online playground.

All levels are welcome, all you need is your computer!
